Ampitheatre & Hilltop Villages...Day 12 & 13

Yesterday we started the day with leaving Lyon and driving to Orange where there is a very old ampitheatre.

From there we went to Ansouis which is a tiny little village in Provence. We are staying at a very nice B&B here.

Right outside my mom's room is this beautiful courtyard.
Yesterday we started off by going to a small market in a hilltop village.

It's very much like the swap meat.

We tried on some hats that were for sale!

For the rest of the day we traveled from village to village. They are all hill top villages so they have tiny streets and lots of sloping streets.

 Gordes

There were a few very nice fabric and boutique shop in a few villages.

It was so hot we stopped for some icecream. There are very different flavors than what we are normally used to. Provence is famous for it's lavender so they had lavender icecream!
Nutella is a big thing around here as well. Look how big these containers are!

 Shopping at a boutique.
For dinner I had a regular american hamburger. It was sooo good!
This is what their ketchup and mayo packets look like.
