Switzerland...Day 8

We got to stay at a farm in Switzerland for a night.. Switzerland is soooo beautiful! Every hill you walk over you could look down and see a village below. It reminded me of the Sound of Music a little bit.. We stayed with David and Elizabeth who my mom knew 40 years ago when she lived there. Their son and his wife and their two children also live with them on the farm. Everyone was so welcoming and jovial to us. The little children were very enjoyable to play with. David showed us around the whole farm and told us all about the different animals. Elizabeth gave us a special tour of the castle which is right next to their house.  You know when you go through a museum and there are ropes blocking off rooms so you can’t walk in them? Well on this tour we actually got to take down the ropes and walk in the rooms! We got to go swimming in their pool and also got to ride their quad around and do some exploring! It was such and enjoyable stay with them.

David used to be a singing yodeler so he did a bit for us...and he insisted that my mom do it with him!
